Micrometeorology is a subtle change in climate caused by factors such as small-scale topography, such as localised wind, fog and frost. In certain sections of transmission lines, these micrometeorological phenomena may be exacerbated by topographical influences, for example, leading to conductor ice-covering or wind-swinging, which affects line safety. Therefore, installing micrometeorological monitoring equipment on transmission lines in these special terrains can help us understand and respond to these microclimatic changes in advance, prevent line failures, and ensure stable power supply.
In order to meet the monitoring needs of transmission lines in complex terrains, Fengtu has developed a comprehensive set of on-line micro-meteorological monitoring system. This system is equipped to monitor key meteorological elements, including real-time tracking of environmental temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction and barometric pressure. The monitoring data is transmitted wirelessly via high-speed 4G/5G network or IoT agent technology, ensuring that the information is delivered instantly to the central monitoring platform.
The central monitoring platform is responsible for receiving and storing these meteorological parameters and conducting in-depth data analysis and statistics. In addition, the system is designed for efficient data presentation, enabling users to understand the monitoring results intuitively through reports, charts and graphs. When monitoring potentially abnormal meteorological events, the system is able to issue early warnings quickly and notify management personnel through multiple communication channels so that they can react quickly and take preventive measures to ensure the stability and safety of transmission lines.
The equipment suite brings intelligence and high efficiency to power inspections, allowing power maintenance personnel to conveniently access and analyse data remotely. It provides real-time meteorological data to power departments, helping them observe weather conditions around transmission lines and identify possible meteorological hazards in advance. The data also provides valuable data support for line design and construction.
