The Soil Moisture Monitoring Station is an automated device to measure soil moisture and temperature. It consists of a sensor, a data collector, a communication module and a power supply system that automatically collects data and sends it to a remote monitoring centre. This equipment is useful in areas such as agriculture, forestry and environmental protection.
Soil moisture sensors commonly use frequency domain reflectometry (FDR) or time domain reflectometry (TDR) to determine the soil's dielectric constant, a value that is subsequently used to calculate the proportion of water in the soil. As for soil temperature measurements, thermistors or semiconductor sensors are mostly used to sense the heat of the soil.
The data collected by these monitoring stations are initially processed by a data collector and then transmitted to a remote server using a wireless communication module. Users, no matter where they are, can access this soil data in real time as long as they have Internet access, providing instant information for agricultural irrigation, environmental monitoring, and so on.
Soil moisture monitoring stations are widely used in agricultural fields, such as farmland, orchards and forests, to provide real-time soil moisture information to farmers, assisting them in making more accurate irrigation and fertiliser decisions.
These monitoring devices are also a valuable resource for research institutes and educational institutions, where they play an important role in academic research projects and agricultural teaching programmes, helping students and researchers to better understand the effects of soil moisture on crop growth.

Oxidation-Reduction Potential, namely ORP, reflects the difference in the oxidation-reduction potential between the indicating electrode and the reference electrode in a liquid, and it can provide a comprehensive assessment of the oxidation-reduction state of the entire system. In a wastewater treat...
Negative oxygen ion sensors monitor air quality in real time by measuring the concentration of negative oxygen ions in the air. Such sensors usually use electrochemical or optical principles to detect negative oxygen ions and convert the detected signals into readable data through electronic devices...
Nowadays, natural gas is widely used in our daily life, work and transportation. It can protect the environment and reduce air pollution. However, once there is a gas leak in the city, it will pose a great threat to everyone, affecting people's lives and work, and even endangering lives. In terms...
Based on microwave technology, the Water Level Monitoring System system automatically monitors water level, flow velocity, and flow rate through a sensor network, providing precise data for flood control and water management....
