Deep beneath the city, drainage networks are responsible for collecting and conveying various liquids, including domestic sewage, industrial wastewater, and rainwater, ensuring these fluids flow smoothly to wastewater treatment plants or natural water bodies to maintain urban operations and environmental hygiene. However, long-term operation of drainage networks faces several hidden hazards:
Drainage pipes may suffer from damage, leaks, blockages, etc. These issues not only cause sewage overflow and environmental pollution but also pose safety risks such as road collapses. Changes in water quality within the network are difficult to detect in a timely manner. The intrusion of harmful substances can severely threaten the environment and human health, yet traditional manual detection methods are inefficient and fail to provide comprehensive coverage.
The FT-GSZ07 Drainage Network Monitoring System has been developed to address these challenges with effective technological solutions. The system comprises sensors, data collection and transmission devices, and a monitoring center platform. Sensors installed at key nodes of the drainage network can real-time monitor various water quality parameters, such as chemical oxygen demand (COD), ammonia nitrogen, and pH value (pH).
Data collection and transmission devices gather and organize data from the sensors, then transmit it in real time to the monitoring center platform via wireless communication networks. The platform has powerful data processing and analysis capabilities, enabling it to store, organize, analyze, and visualize large volumes of monitoring data. Staff can intuitively view the water quality status at each monitoring point through the platform. When abnormal data is detected, the system immediately triggers an alarm to notify relevant personnel for prompt investigation and handling.
The system features a compact design, with highly integrated monitoring and data collection devices that are easy to install—they can be directly mounted on the walls of network manholes without being limited by complex conditions. With an IP68 protection rating and explosion-proof function, the sensors and collectors are constructed from high-waterproof materials and structures, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments. It has low power consumption, with a built-in high-performance battery that supports continuous operation for 180 days. The battery capacity can be expanded, requiring minimal maintenance and allowing long-term reliable operation in underground wells.
Furthermore, the system has a wide range of applications, suitable for urban stormwater, sewage, and other drainage networks. It can be flexibly configured to expand measurements of parameters such as water quality, flow rate, liquid level, and manhole cover status, providing comprehensive support for the intelligent and efficient management of urban drainage networks and safeguarding urban water environment security.

Strawberries are fruits in spring, but with the development of greenhouse technology, we can now also eat strawberries in winter. Winter strawberries are harvested from greenhouses because they have meteorological requirements. Therefore, we can create an environment suitable for strawberry growth i...
What is the use of a regional automatic weather station? It is an important means of weather observation, a new product based on modern sensor network technology, which collects weather information such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation and barometric pressure at a...
