In industrial sites, the presence of harmful gases such as combustible gases (EX), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), and carbon monoxide (CO) poses a serious threat to the safety and physical health of workers.
There are various types of combustible gases (EX), such as hydrogen, methane, ethylene, etc. When the concentration of these gases in the air reaches a certain range, they will burn rapidly or even explode when encountering a source of ignition, leading to fire and explosion accidents and causing huge property losses and casualties. Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is a highly toxic gas. At low concentrations, it has the smell of rotten eggs, and at high concentrations, it can poison and paralyze the olfactory nerve, causing the smell to weaken or disappear. It can cause blood oxygen deficiency and poisoning in humans and has a strong irritating effect on the eyes and respiratory mucosa. Inhaling a high concentration of hydrogen sulfide in a short period can lead to rapid coma and even death. Carbon monoxide (CO) is also a highly hazardous toxic gas. It is colorless, odorless, and non-irritating, making it difficult to detect. After inhalation, it combines with human hemoglobin, making it lose its oxygen-carrying capacity, leading to tissue hypoxia and causing poisoning. In severe cases, it can lead to death. Moreover, when its volume concentration reaches 13% to 75%, it is explosive when encountering a source of ignition.
Given the serious hazards of these harmful gases in industrial sites, the Composite gas detector FT-FHQ2 has been developed. This detector can simultaneously detect multiple gases such as combustible gases (EX), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon monoxide (CO), and oxygen (O₂), and can quickly and accurately monitor the gas concentration in real time. It adopts a pump-suction sampling method, which can actively draw gas for detection. It can work effectively even in complex and narrow spaces, ensuring the accuracy and representativeness of gas samples. The sensitive sensor can quickly respond to changes in gas concentration. Once the gas concentration exceeds or is lower than the set safety range, the detector will immediately emit audible and visual alarm signals to remind on-site personnel to take timely measures to avoid accidents, providing reliable safety protection for workers in industrial sites and serving as one of the important devices for ensuring the safety of industrial site operations.

Carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide gases in mines pose great hazards to the safety of miners' lives and mine operations, which is the main reason for their monitoring.Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. Its affinity for human hemoglobin is 200 - 300 times higher than t...
