The pH value of water is extremely crucial in both ecology and human activities. In ecological terms, it directly affects the survival and reproduction of aquatic organisms. A suitable pH environment is the basis for aquatic organisms to carry out normal physiological activities. Unsuitable pH will interfere with fish respiration and osmotic pressure regulation, threatening their survival. It will also change the forms of nutrients and heavy metal ions in water, enhance the toxicity of heavy metals, and disrupt ecological balance. For humans, the pH of drinking water needs to be within a suitable range to ensure human health and at the same time prevent pipelines from being corroded due to improper pH. In the industrial field, different production processes have strict requirements for the pH of water used. For example, in the printing and dyeing and electronics industries, only a suitable pH can ensure product quality. In agriculture, measuring the pH of water bodies helps to adjust the acidity and alkalinity of the soil to meet the growth needs of crops, thereby improving the yield and quality of crops. Therefore, measuring the pH of water bodies is of great significance.
The Water PH Sensor is a sensor designed based on electrochemical principles and is specifically used for real-time monitoring of the acidity and alkalinity of solutions.
This sensor works based on electrochemical principles. The sensitive membrane inside its glass electrode is highly selective for hydrogen ions. When immersed in a solution, the sensitive membrane reacts with hydrogen ions to generate a potential difference. After being processed by an electronic circuit, a corresponding electrical signal is output. The reference electrode ensures the accuracy and stability of the measurement.
In terms of technical parameters, it has a measurement range of 0-14.00, a measurement resolution of 0.01, and a measurement accuracy of ±0.1PH and ±0.1°C. It has a fast response, about 10 seconds (98% flowing liquid) and 15 seconds (98% static liquid).
The Water PH Sensor can be used for environmental water quality detection and water sample testing of various ionic strengths. It meets the requirements for online pH measurement in most industrial and environmental applications. It outputs signals through RS485 (MODBUS - RTU) and 4-20mA current. Its shell is made of ABS material. It has a low-impedance sensitive glass membrane and internal signal isolation technology. It has strong anti-interference ability, stable performance and long service life. It meets the IP68 waterproof standard and is suitable for various complex environments.
