Handheld Flow Meter measurement principle:
Flow velocity measurement: When the flow meter is driven by water, its built-in signal device generates a rotation signal. Therefore, the flow velocity can be calculated according to the total number of signals generated by the flow meter within a certain unit period of time by the following formula: v=a+b*R/T (m/s) (automatic calculation)

b- propeller (or cup) hydraulic pitch (m)

T-flow measurement duration (s)
The total number of revolutions of the flowmeter rotor during the period R-T
For a certain individual flow meter, b and a are constant values. Therefore, when measuring flow, as long as the T and R values are measured, the flow rate can be calculated.
