1.Soil Redox Potentiometer Product Introduction
Soil Redox Potentiometer The soil REDOX Potentiometer is a portable instrument for measuring soil Eh and pH. It measures REDOX potential (Eh), pH and temperature.Soil Redox Potentiometer is mainly used for on-site in-situ testing of the redox potential of fresh or moist soil, the measurement of water (medium) redox potential, pH, temperature and other data. It complies with the standard of "HJ746-2015 Potentiometric Method for Determination of Soil Redox Potential".
Soil redox potential (ORP/Eh) has been used for a long time as a comprehensive indicator of soil environmental conditions. It characterizes the relative degree of oxidizability or reducibility of the medium, has an important influence on the chemical and biological processes of the soil, and is an important parameter for understanding the properties and processes of the soil. The higher the redox potential, the stronger the oxidizability, and the lower the redox potential, the stronger the reducibility. A positive potential indicates that the solution shows a certain oxidizability, and a negative potential indicates that the solution shows a certain reducibility.
Oxidation reduction potential (ORP) is one of the most important water quality indicators. Although it cannot independently reflect the quality of water, it can integrate other water quality indicators to reflect the ecological environment in aquatic systems. 1. Industrial wastewater treatment: The oxidation reduction system used in water treatment is mainly the reduction of chromic acid and the oxidation of cyanide; 2. Water disinfection and application: Oxidation reduction potential can measure the disinfection effect of swimming pool water, mineral water and tap water. Because the bactericidal efficiency of Escherichia coli in water is related to the oxidation reduction potential, the oxidation reduction potential is a reliable indicator of water quality; 3. Aquaculture industry: Oxidation reduction potential can reflect the concentration of certain inorganic substances in water, the state of aquatic organisms, and the oxygen content in water, reflecting the macroscopic oxidation reduction of water quality, and is a comprehensive indicator for judging water quality.
