electric field monitor is a device that gives advance warning of lightning, detecting not only nearby lightning, but also atmospheric conditions before the lightning strikes.Electric field monitor is a fully digital electric field detection and lightning warning platform.Its core electric field detection structure is based on the charge induction principle and is developed using MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) technology.It has no motors and other easily worn movable mechanical parts.It has outstanding advantages such as small size, low power consumption, high reliability, and easy integration.The system uses electric field differential combined with threshold threshold to optimize the lightning warning algorithm.Compared with the conventional threshold threshold method, it has a high probability of avoiding false alarms caused by human interference (rainy days/strong winds/snowy days/dust), and further improves the accuracy of the warning.The lightning warning system is accurate, easy to network, and easy to install.It is mainly aimed at the application needs of atmospheric electric field detection and local short-term lightning warning in the fields of aerospace and national defense, meteorology, petroleum and petrochemicals, power grids, scenic spots, mines, oil depots, and military.

5.Precautions for installing electric field monitor
1.Lightning warning probes should be installed on sunny days
2.The lightning warning probe should be installed outdoors without any obstructions or surrounding objects.
3.It shall not be installed near the exhaust outlet of the generator, beside the electric pole or under the high-voltage line.
4.Under abnormal circumstances, when the device is protruding from the ground, close to antenna poles or other equipment, the field strength and its test data may be disturbed.
5.In wired mode, the wiring distance from the outdoor electric field meter probe to the indoor host is not recommended to exceed 100 meters

6.Electric field monitor installation steps
1.Take out the complete set of lightning warning system from the box
2.Fix the bracket to the designated installation position and secure it with bolts.
3.Connect the lightning rod tip to the ground wire, and lead the other end of the ground wire from the inside of the bracket and out from the bottom hole of the bracket.After installing the grounding electrode and other grounding devices, connect the lightning rod ground wire to the ground wire.
4.Lead the wire of the atmospheric electric field instrument probe from the inside of the bracket, lead it out from the hole in the middle of the bracket, and connect it to the main control box.There are three wires in the main control box.Connect them according to the color and do a good job of insulation.
5.Fix the solar panel to the bracket and connect the solar wires to the power wires according to their colors.
6.Install the control box in a suitable location in the control room, usually on the wall.Connect the alarm wires to the control box and connect them according to the color.Connect the 220V power supply to the circuit breaker.
7.Lead out a network cable and a control cable from the front-end main control box according to the interface, connect them to the control box in the control room, and connect the network cable and control cable according to the interface.
8.Turn on the power of the main control box switch and the indoor control box switch
