1.Icing monitoring system product introduction
Icing monitoring system monitors the icing status of overhead lines by collecting wind speed, wind direction, air temperature and humidity and other parameters around wires.Icing of transmission lines and the various ice disasters caused by them have seriously endangered the safe operation of my country's power system.Ice disasters in my country are characterized by long duration, high frequency, and large coverage area; severe icing in micro-meteorological areas can cause the electrical and mechanical performance of power transmission and transformation equipment to decline, severe icing causes overload, uneven icing and different periods of deicing cause tension differences, ice flashover of insulator strings, and dancing of iced conductors, which are the main causes of icing accidents.
2.Working principle of icing monitoring system
The transmission line microwave icing monitoring device does not require power outage for installation.The equipment uses unique microwave detection technology and combines temperature analysis to achieve real-time monitoring of the icing conditions of various types of towers, insulators, transmission lines, etc.
The system sensor uses microwave detection technology.Based on the difference in feedback signals of different substances such as ice, water, and air, the system monitors the icing information in the sensor's sensitive area, and calculates the icing thickness based on the signal strength and the distribution information of icing in the sensor's sensitive area.The icing alarm value can be set according to different icing thickness information to facilitate the start-up of the de-icing system.The host samples, filters, amplifies, and AD converts the icing signal in real time, and then converts it through our proprietary algorithm to obtain the icing rate and thickness value.When the thickness of the ice reaches the preset threshold, an icing alarm signal is issued, and then transmitted to the background through wireless networks such as 4G.Real-time assessment of the hazards of icing ensures safe operation of the line.
