Magnetostrictive static level is suitable for geotechnical engineering to monitor the settlement of multiple points for a long time, and the instrument is composed of magnetostrictive sensors.The static leveling system is a high-precision liquid level measurement system, which is suitable for measuring the relative settlement of multiple points. In use, the static leveling system is to install multiple static levels on multiple monitoring points, among which one monitoring point is selected as the base reference point. Each static level is connected together so that the liquid level inside each static level is on the same horizontal plane. In this way, when a certain monitoring point settles, the liquid level height inside each static level will change. Each static level measures the liquid level height of its internal liquid through its own internal measuring device. The liquid level height information of each static level is transmitted to the background system, and the background system can obtain the relative settlement of each monitoring point relative to the base reference point through calculation. It is mainly used for vertical displacement monitoring of bridges, tunnels, bridges, subways, dams, foundation pits, large storage tanks, etc.

The magnetostrictive displacement (liquid level) sensor uses the magnetostrictive principle to accurately measure the position by generating a strain pulse signal through the intersection of two different magnetic fields. The measuring element is a waveguide tube, and the sensitive element in the waveguide tube is made of special magnetostrictive materials. The measurement process is that a current pulse is generated in the electronic chamber of the sensor, and the current pulse is transmitted in the waveguide tube, thereby generating a circumferential magnetic field outside the waveguide tube. When the magnetic field intersects with the magnetic field generated by the active magnetic ring on the waveguide tube as a position change, due to the effect of magnetostriction, a strain mechanical wave pulse signal is generated in the waveguide tube. This strain mechanical wave pulse signal is transmitted at a fixed sound speed and is quickly detected by the electronic chamber. Since the transmission time of this strain mechanical wave pulse signal in the waveguide tube is proportional to the distance between the active magnetic ring and the electronic chamber, by measuring the time, this distance can be determined with high accuracy. Since the output signal is a true absolute value, rather than a proportional or amplified signal, there is no signal drift or value change, and there is no need for regular recalibration.
